TECC-TIME is the Chamber’s main fundraiser each year. Money raised will support special projects this year.
Reverse Raffle? It works just like it says. As tickets are drawn, each “winner” loses their chance at being the biggest loser of the night and pocket big money. Other prizes will BEE up for grabs.
This year’s theme is all about the BEES. Honey operations are a big part of Edgecombe County’s agriculture at locations like the Conetoe Family Life Center. Honey means millions of dollars to the state’s economy every year.
The Reverse Raffle works like this: Participants arrive at 6 p.m., mingle, eat dinner and browse the silent action displays. When the raffle starts, the first winner is crowned the Grand Loser and refunded their entry fee of $75.
