About Us

Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation is a local, volunteer-driven non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to Edgecombe County residents who are actively undergoing cancer treatment. We are committed to helping our friends and neighbors who are battling cancer, and we use every dollar raised to ease the financial burden of treatment. It is our long-term goal to become a leading resource in raising awareness and establishing a self-perpetuating fund that will assist those diagnosed with cancer in Edgecombe County.

Edgecombe County residents will find application forms on our website. Currently, we provide one-time gifts of $1,000 to qualified applicants.

Our primary fundraiser is the annual RUN FOR YOUR LIFE 5K, 10K, and FUN RUN held in Downtown Tarboro the last Saturday in October.
